Background Bibliographic Analysis

The significance of the KM growth pattern becomes much more apparent when one compares it with the pattern of other major business enthusiasms of recent years. Below (Figure 2.2) are the literature growth patterns of three of those major business enthusiasms. The difference is dramatic. Quality Circles, Business Process Engineering, and Total Quality Management all show an almost identical pattern of approximately five years of dramatic, exponential, growth, then they peak and all off to near nothing almost as quickly. KM, by contrast, has that same period of five years of exponential growth, 1994 to 1999, but in the decade since it has not declined, rather it has continued to grow steadily and consistently. All the hallmarks are here of a rather permanent development. There has also been substantial interest in the academic world concerning KM.The database ‘Dissertations and Theses’ includes bibliographic information about theses published by graduate students at accredited North American institutions from 1861, and from 50 European universities since 1988. A search of the database showed that all of the dissertations and theses with ‘knowledge management’ in the title or in the key word fields have been published since 1996. The specific departments and disciplines in which the dissertations were written range from mathematics to mass

in reading about KM as well. The specific departments and disciplines in which the dissertations were written range from mathematics to mass communication, with business administration being strongly represented. See Figure 2.3 for the publication pattern.

An interesting observation is that there was a very brief spurt of articles about KM in journals devoted to education, but that interest soon waned. This is likely a function of the fact that KM, as mentioned previously has a very corporatist and organizational emphasis, while for most academic principals, the faculty, their commitment to their field, their discipline and sub-discipline, their “invisible college” comes first. Their commitment to their nominal home institution is quite

Selling in Social Media (ex: eBay a reseller)

Advertise in social media is not just buying and selling activity, and selling on eBay requires more than just words promotions. sell on ebay without having a product, and we are a reseller.

We can sell without having to have a product. We can become a supplier and reseller sell their products on eBay. Payment from the buyer go to our Paypal account, then we order products to the supplier, the supplier will later send the products directly to buyers.

In this way we do not need to have a stock products and not influenced by shipping
Sales as mentioned above is known as dropshipping. For more details look at the following diagram:

so no need to worry about ordering a product that you do not have

What Is Knowledge management

Some understanding or the meaning of what a knowledge management

Knowledge Management is the collection of processes that govern the creation, dissemination, and utilization of knowledge. In one form or another, knowledge management has been around for a very long time. Practitioners have included philosophers, priests, teachers, politicians, scribes, Liberians, etc.

So if Knowledge Management is such an ageless and broad topic what role does it serve in today's Information Age? These processes exist whether we acknowledge them or not and they have a profound effect on the decisions we make and the actions we take, both of which are enabled by knowledge of some type. If this is the case, and we agree that many of our decisions and actions have profound and long lasting effects, it makes sense to recognize and understand the processes that effect or actions and decision and, where possible, take steps to improve the quality these processes and in turn improve the quality of those actions and decisions for which we are responsible?

Knowledge management is not a, "a technology thing" or a, "computer thing" If we accept the premise that knowledge management is concerned with the entire process of discovery and creation of knowledge, dissemination of knowledge , and the utilization of knowledge then we are strongly driven to accept that knowledge management is much more than a "technology thing" and that elements of it exist in each of our jobs.

Knowledge Management (KM): This is, as the word implies, the ability to manage "knowledge". We are all familiar with the term Information Management. This term came about when people realized that information is a resource that can and needs to be managed to be useful in an organization. From this, the ideas of Information Analysis and Information Planning came about. Organizations are now starting to look at "knowledge" as a resource as well. This means that we need ways for managing the knowledge in an organization. We can use techniques and methods that were developed as part of Knowledge Technology to analyze the knowledge sources in an organization. Using these techniques we can perform Knowledge Analysis and Knowledge Planning.

Knowledge Analysis (KA): In Knowledge Analysis we model a knowledge source in such a way that we can analyze its usefulness, its weaknesses and its appropriateness within the organization. Knowledge Analysis is a necessary step for the ability to manage knowledge. Within Knowledge Analysis we can use knowledge modeling and knowledge acquisition techniques.

Effect Twiiter for student (opinion of me)

Twiiter, twitter is a very popular instant messaging system that lets a person send brief text messages up to 140 characters in length to a list of followers. Launched in 2006, Twitter was designed as a social network to keep friends and colleagues informed throughout the day. However, it became widely used for commercial and political purposes to keep customers, voters and fans up-to-date as well as to encourage feedback.

The examination of tweet content shows that students were motivated and engaged with each other. In ways that rarely happen with pre-health professional firstyear students at this institution, students were actively engaged in thoughtful and personally meaningful conversation about themes addressed in the Mountains

Beyond Mountains book. These conversations extended over hours and sometimes days as students would log off Twitter, then back on to find a response to a previous statement and continue the conversation. An examination of tweets about the upper-class student panel showed that students were engaged in asking questions of their peers about academic milestones they expected to need help with.

Our examination of the tweets related to setting up study groups for Chemistry and Biology showed that a group of students were enthusiastic about collaborative learning through study groups. With our encouragement and help, these students set up their first study group for Chemistry. After the first meeting, students independently organized additional study groups. Study group participation grew throughout the semester and expanded beyond Chemistry to other
courses.
